It has been 10 days since I picked up the Xiaopeng G6 and drove 1000 kilometers.
Today, let's talk about my driving experience! As an experienced driver who has been driving gasoline powered cars for 12 years, the first impression that electric cars give me is quietness, especially the sound insulation effect of the Xiaopeng G6, which is much better than my previous cars.
When passing speed bumps and bumpy roads, the interior of the car is still very quiet, which makes me particularly satisfied.
In terms of endurance, the performance of G6 is also very awesome, and the power consumption is basically about 12kw/100km.
I usually commute 20 kilometers back and forth to work, and only consume 4% of my electricity every day, which is equivalent to needing to be charged once every 20 days.
However, after getting the new car, I really liked it and couldn't resist running around every day. As a result, after driving for a week, my battery was only 20%.
So I experienced the G6's 5C charging for the first time, and the effect was even better than I imagined. It only took 32 minutes to charge from 20% to 100%, and the speed was very fast.
Regarding the intelligent driving function, I was a bit unfamiliar when I first started using it, but as I gradually became familiar with it, I really found it very useful.

During the Spring Festival, I drove G6 to Quanzhou for a self driving tour. On the day of the return trip, we departed from Quanzhou, passed through Lishui, and finally arrived in Hangzhou, covering a total distance of about 800 kilometers.
At departure, the odometer displayed a range of 95%. In actual driving, the air conditioning and seat heating were turned on throughout the entire high-speed section, and the energy consumption remained stable at 17.6kWh/100km throughout the day.
Thanks to the global 800V high-voltage platform and silicon carbide electric drive technology, the G6 has extremely high electronic control efficiency, and can maintain low energy consumption performance even at 120km/h high-speed cruising.
Energy replenishment experience:
The entire process only requires two recharges (at a special power station in Ningde and an ideal station in the service area), with each charge taking about 30 minutes to charge from 20% to 90%.

2、 Intelligent driving experience: XNGP turns commuting into 'semi autonomous driving'

I travel back and forth between Hangzhou and Jiaxing every week (about 100 kilometers each way), and the high-speed NGP has become my "must-have". The Xiaopeng XNGP system is equipped with dual Orin-X chips and 31 sensors, which can achieve:
1. Automatic following and lane centering: Accurately identify the speed of the preceding vehicle, maintain a safe distance, and automatically adjust direction in bends.
2. Active lane change overtaking: The system will actively select the optimal lane based on road conditions, and the lane change action is decisive and smooth, approaching human driving style.
